We're Still Hopping

Just to remind you all that the Hop is still going on.  You can always click the red sack on the side bar for the daily bloggers list.  Some really clever and artistic quilters, lots of ideas, wonderful incentive to get the Holiday sewing going.

I wanted to share this wonderful pattern that I tested for Bea Quilter.  She will be offering it as a pdf sale soon.  Very easy paper pieced block with a switch of the color you get a fun look.  You can see another version that was tested by Moose Stash Quilting.

And I did it during last month's Christmas QAL & Challenge weekend.  The challenge is to make a holiday piece without the traditional red and green and no more than 98" around the edge, so this certainly fits the challenge. ** I actually have another project for the challenge**

I like table runners reversible, so used this cute holiday birdhouse print - see, there is the red and green.  This weekend (August 10th & 11th) the Christmas QAL will be hosted by Joanna at NeedleThreadHappiness.  The Hop has given the inspiration, now come sew with us.

Sewingly Yours,
Sharon
